About
The lighting project of Piazza Castille, in Valletta, took into account the composition of the square and its surrounding buildings.
In addition to enhancing the tradition and beauty of the existing buildings, the main objective was to give the site the appearance of a true theatre, where the square acts as a stage and the historic palaces become real leading actors.
Thanks to the use of state-of-the-art lighting fixtures, Stefano Dall'Osso was able to devise a lighting design project that does not alter the perception of the building colors, preserving the same shades visible in natural light even at dusk and during night hours.
The cutting-edge characteristics of these fixtures guarantee perfect performance over time, and the stainless steel they are made from makes them resistant to salty air and the weather conditions typical of the island.
A light that aims not only to increase the number of visitors even in the evening hours but also ensures safety and respect for the environment through energy-saving light sources and a control system that intelligently adjusts the light.
