Introduction

On April 2, 2013, SPLD was launched, a start-up whose MISSION is to make private and collective spaces unique through the use of a new material for architecture: artificial light. Always forward-looking, it is guided by a VISION that is well defined: by shaping this phenomenal element, light, its culture can be spread, allowing people to appreciate the benefits of proper lighting. Light invades our lives defining every detail that surrounds man, his relationships, and the different environments in which he lives: cities, offices, schools, hospitals, places of worship, and commercial activities.

SPLD IS AN INDEPENDENT COMPANY THAT RELIES ON BASIC PILLARS TO INTERACT WITH THE CLIENT IN A TRANSPARENT MANNER. RESPECT, INTEGRITY, AND SERIOUSNESS FORM THE FOUNDATION ON WHICH THE PROFESSIONAL MODE OF OPERATION OF SPLD IS BUILT. IN THE SCALE OF ESSENTIAL VALUES FOR THE COMPANY, ETHICS, TRANSPARENCY, QUALITY, SUSTAINABILITY, DYNAMISM, AND FLEXIBILITY ARE ENUMERATED.

The company is able to meet the client's needs at all stages of lighting design, starting from consultancy after a thorough information gathering, the actual project development, and the supervision of the works with site inspections, construction procedures, and testing in the execution phase.

INDUSTRIAL DESIGN

The SPLD team - under the guidance of Stefano Dall’Osso - is capable of designing new products in line with the latest lighting market trends, offering cutting-edge technologies and an innovative aesthetic to captivate the observer's eye.

LM&CS DESIGN

SPLD offers the LM&CS (Lighting Management & Control System) service to combine aesthetics and energy savings: through this system, it is indeed possible to adjust the lighting according to needs or the time of day and create always different scenarios in line with the principle of the dynamic nature of the architectural space and eco-sustainability.

TEACHING

Thanks to the extensive professional and academic experience of team leader Stefano Dall’Osso, SPLD offers high-level training courses for light market operators.

MARKETING

SPLD offers the knowledge of the internationally renowned Lighting Designer, Stefano Dall’Osso, during events, conferences, seminars, and discussions in order to promote and disseminate a true culture of light, a new philosophy of thought on the subject.
